Libraries continue to play a vital role in preserving and sharing knowledge while evolving to meet the demands of the digital era. Recognizing these changing roles, the University of Jaffna, through the Vithiananthan Library, will organize an International Conference on 28 January 2027. The conference will bring together scholars, library and information professionals, researchers, educators, policymakers, practitioners, and students to exchange knowledge, share innovative practices, and explore emerging challenges and opportunities in Library and Information Science. It will provide a platform for meaningful dialogue on the future of libraries and their transformative role in knowledge creation, access, and dissemination.
